Gerflor Unveils the Next Generation of Taralay Premium
Gerflor, a global leader in flooring solutions, has launched an upgraded Taralay Premium collection, setting new standards in sustainability, durability, and design. With a legacy spanning 35 years, Taralay Premium has been re-engineered to reduce its carbon footprint while maintaining exceptional performance across diverse commercial sectors, including healthcare, education, hospitality, and retail.
Sustainability at Its Core
The new eco-designed Taralay Premium collection achieves an impressive 29% reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional heterogeneous flooring. Its composition integrates 80% bio-based, mineral, and recycled materials, ensuring high sustainability standards. Manufactured in Europe, the collection is also 100% recyclable through Gerflor’s Second Life Program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to circular economy initiatives.
Unmatched Performance & Durability
Renowned for its resilience, Taralay Premium ensures high durability, comfort, and easy maintenance. It is particularly suited for high-traffic environments such as hospitals, where its innovative surface treatment offers unrivaled stain and chemical resistance. Additionally, it provides smooth rolling resistance for heavy equipment, such as hospital beds and trolleys, supporting up to 250 kg of load.
Innovative & Stylish Design
The new Taralay Premium collection features 81 references across eight distinctive designs, including two newly introduced patterns:
- Cocoon – Inspired by recycled fibers, offering a serene and natural palette.
- Neoterra – A terrazzo-inspired design with a contemporary touch.
- These join the existing six signature designs—Osmoz, Poesy, Neopolis, Metallica, Brazilia, and Indiana—now available in an expanded color range.
