The 50th India Carpet Expo will take place from 11–14 April 2026 at the NSIC Exhibition Complex in New Delhi, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and international buyers for one of the world’s leading handmade carpet trade fairs.
Landmark Edition to Showcase India’s Handmade Carpet Industry
Organized by the Carpet Export Promotion Council under the Government of India, the 50th edition marks a significant milestone for the country’s handmade carpet sector.
More than 200 leading manufacturers and exporters from across India are expected to exhibit a diverse collection of handmade carpets, rugs, and floor coverings. Organizers also anticipate welcoming over 500 international buyers representing more than 60 countries.
The exhibition will provide a dedicated business-to-business platform where importers, wholesalers, retailers, interior designers, and sourcing professionals can meet directly with Indian manufacturers to explore new products and establish long-term business partnerships.
The event aims to further strengthen India’s position as one of the world’s leading exporters of handmade carpets while expanding international trade opportunities for participating companies.
To encourage overseas participation, the Carpet Export Promotion Council is offering a complimentary hospitality package to selected international buyers. The package includes two nights of hotel accommodation in New Delhi between 10 and 14 April 2026, along with shuttle transportation between the hotel and the exhibition venue. Final approval of eligible buyers will be determined by the council.
Recognized as one of Asia’s largest exhibitions dedicated exclusively to handmade carpets, the India Carpet Expo showcases India’s rich carpet-weaving heritage alongside contemporary designs developed for international markets.
Organizers have encouraged overseas buyers to register early to maximize networking opportunities and take advantage of the hospitality programme during this landmark 50th edition.
