Eight carpet manufacturers from Demirci are participating in the exhibition held at the Istanbul Expo Center. Their collections include mosque and hotel carpets—products that adorn both historical and modern buildings across Türkiye and many countries worldwide.

Demirci carpets stand out for their flame-resistant properties, long lifespan and custom-designed patterns tailored to complement the architectural identity of mosques. Industry professionals from various Turkish provinces and numerous international markets are attending the event.

Visit from Local Authorities

Demirci Mayor Erkan Kara and District Governor Fatih Bayram visited the fair, touring the booths of local companies. They received detailed briefings about production processes, export activities and future sectoral expectations.

During the visit, Mayor Erkan Kara said:

“Demirci Carpet is a work of art woven knot by knot for centuries. Today, it decorates world-renowned sacred sites and represents our nation’s culture and artistic heritage on the international stage. Seeing our producers at this major fair is a great source of pride for us.”
