Workshops, Forums, and International Delegations
Alongside the main exhibition, FMCEX 2025 hosted a variety of educational workshops and expert sessions on topics such as carpet design, recycling of carpets and floor coverings, yarn and raw materials, and industrial innovation.
The event also featured panel discussions with union heads, as well as business meetings with two foreign trade delegations, aiming to promote cross-border collaboration and export expansion.
Strengthening Iran’s Position in the Global Carpet Industry
Organizers highlighted several key objectives of FMCEX 2025, including:
- Increasing production efficiency and technological advancement

- Creating employment opportunities and attracting investment
- Enhancing technical and scientific knowledge among professionals
Iran’s machine-made carpet industry remains one of the most significant segments of the national textile sector. The Kashan–Aran–Bidgol region alone hosts over 1,000 production units, making it the hub of carpet manufacturing in the country and one of the most active centers in the Middle East.
The sector accounts for nearly 50% of Iran’s total textile export value, generating around USD 350 million in annual foreign exchange earnings, while also providing substantial employment opportunities nationwide.
FMCEX: A Gateway to the Future of Carpet and Flooring
FMCEX 2025 once again reaffirmed Tehran’s status as the leading meeting point for the region’s carpet and flooring industries, serving as a bridge between Iranian manufacturers and international markets.
The event demonstrated how Iran’s machine-made carpet producers continue to innovate, modernize, and expand globally, reinforcing their reputation for quality craftsmanship, design excellence, and industrial strength.
