Shahrokh Carpet will participate in the upcoming International Carpet & Flooring Expo (ICFE) Istanbul 2026, reinforcing its position as one of Iran’s most technologically advanced machine-made carpet manufacturers.
The company will exhibit at Hall 1 | Stand 132A during the event, which will take place from January 6–9, 2026, at the Istanbul Fair Center, Türkiye.
Engineering Excellence in Wide-Width and High-Density Carpets
The quality and technical capacity of weaving machinery play a decisive role in positioning manufacturers within the machine-made carpet market. Shahrokh Carpet operates eight advanced carpet weaving machines, six of which produce carpets at 1200 reeds per meter, while two are dedicated to 1700 reeds per meter, among the highest densities achieved in machine-made carpets.
Notably, Shahrokh Carpet operates 5-meter-wide weaving machines, enabling the production of seamless large-size carpets. While many producers are forced to split carpets wider than four meters and stitch them afterward—leaving visible seams that compromise visual quality—Shahrokh Carpet can weave carpets up to five meters wide without any joints. This capability is particularly valued in markets such as the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain, where demand for large-area carpets is strong.

Pioneering 1700-Reed Technology
Shahrokh Carpet is recognized as the first manufacturer worldwide to operate 1700-reed carpet weaving machines, a technological milestone that enables the production of exceptionally dense and finely detailed machine-made carpets. Developing this technology required years of engineering trials and overcoming limitations that had previously capped machine densities at 1500 reeds per meter, even among leading European machinery manufacturers.
The result is a new generation of carpets—machine-woven yet finished with a hand-look silk appearance, so refined that they are often indistinguishable from hand-knotted silk rugs. This technology is especially effective in the production of tapestries and highly detailed designs, where thousands of fine elements can only be executed at ultra-high reed densities. While this precision naturally reduces daily output, Shahrokh Carpet has expanded its 1700-reed capacity to balance quality with production efficiency.
Design as a Strategic Advantage
Complementing its production strength, Shahrokh Carpet benefits from a dedicated design department of more than 25 professional designers. The team operates across two specialized divisions: one focused on developing new designs and color palettes based on market research, and another dedicated to resizing and refining existing designs according to customer specifications.
Rather than simply scaling patterns, Shahrokh designers reconstruct motifs proportionally, preserving harmony and balance across all carpet dimensions—an approach that ensures aesthetic integrity regardless of size.
ICFE Istanbul 2026: A Global Platform
As the global carpet and flooring industry prepares for another pivotal year, ICFE Istanbul continues its rapid rise as one of the sector’s most influential business platforms. Organized by Tüyap Fuarlar Yapım A.Ş. under the leadership of İlhan Ersözlü, the 2026 edition is expected to be the event’s most ambitious to date, featuring 11 exhibition halls, nearly 500 exhibitors, and more than 50,000 professional visitors from over 120 countries.
With growing participation from markets including Japan, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Tunisia, and Greece, ICFE has firmly established itself as a truly international sourcing hub—strengthening Türkiye’s role as the world’s leading producer of machine-made carpets.
