Oriental Weavers Unveils Three New Rug Collections at New York Home Fashions Market

Oriental Weavers is introducing three new rug collections during the upcoming New York Home Fashions Market, marking a refined design direction centered on texture-rich weaves and warm-toned palettes.

“From a design standpoint, we’re focusing on textural interest, leaning toward a more casual modern aesthetic; and regarding color, we’re seeing an overall shift to warmer tones,” said Mandi Williams, vice president of product development and design, in an interview with HTT.

Gemma: Plush Comfort with Global Appeal

Crafted in Egypt from 100% polypropylene, the Gemma collection combines durability with a soft, high-pile, machine-woven construction. Its palette draws inspiration from sunbaked reds, moss greens, layered blues and warm neutrals. Designs span from traditional global motifs to organic abstracts and textured geometrics, blending style with everyday functionality.

Hunter: Low-Profile Elegance

Also produced in Egypt, the Hunter line uses 100% polyester in a dense, low-profile weave. Space-dyed yarns transition smoothly from charcoal to ivory, while multi-level shrink polyester accent fibers add depth and dimension. The collection highlights modern geometric and nature-inspired patterns, offering versatility for contemporary interiors seeking a polished yet tactile finish.

Zander: Sculpted Sophistication

The Zander collection, machine-woven in Egypt from 100% polyester, features marine blues and earthy neutrals. Its high-low surface textures provide visual depth, while structured geometric motifs lend a modern and sophisticated character. With its calming colorways and sculpted hand, Zander bridges transitional and contemporary décor sensibilities.

A Refined Direction

Collectively, Oriental Weavers’ latest introductions emphasize plush neutrals, serene geometrics and adaptable elegance suited for a range of environments, from high-traffic living rooms to quiet retreat spaces.
The company’s New York City showroom is located at 260 Fifth Avenue, 11th and 12th floors.
