Tarkett’s carpet brand Desso has launched Tactile Craft, a new collection of subtly striped carpet tiles designed to create smooth transitions between zones in open-plan interiors.
Inspired by natural textures, the collection includes three designs with varying pattern densities:
- Tactile Craft 1: Gentle, soft patterning
- Tactile Craft 2: Medium density
- Tactile Craft 3: Darker, more defined patterns
These variations enable designers to blend the tiles for a refined, layered effect across different spaces, from cozy meeting rooms to expansive hybrid work areas.
Aligned with Tarkett’s sustainability goals, the tiles are made with Econyl regenerated nylon yarn and backed with EcoBase, which includes recycled materials, upcycled calcium carbonate, and bio-based pine resin, replacing petroleum-based components. The collection is also fully recyclable through Tarkett’s take-back program.
“Tactile Craft adds warmth and comfort while supporting circularity in design,” Tarkett stated.
