IHGF Delhi Fair : Reinforcing Global Leadership as a Premier Sourcing Platform

The 61st IHGF Delhi Fair successfully brought together buyers from over 100 countries, engaging with 3,000+ exhibitors across diverse product categories. Building on this strong momentum, the 62nd edition will be held from 13–17 October 2026, presenting fresh product concepts in home, fashion, lifestyle, gifts, furniture, furnishings, and interiors.

The Vibrant Spring Edition Paves the Way for a Strong Autumn Show

The IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 concluded on a high note, reaffirming its stature as one of World’s leading sourcing destinations for home, lifestyle, fashion, furnishings, furniture, gifts and interior products.

Centred on the theme Inclusive Growth & Advancement, the fair highlighted sustainability, value-added craftsmanship, and artistic excellence. The showcase reflected evolving global lifestyle preferences, with a strong emphasis on eco-conscious materials, artisanal techniques, and contemporary design. Special highlights included curated furniture displays, the Young Designers Collective, regional craft presentations from various states of the country including handloom collections from the North-East, and innovative offerings from emerging design entrepreneurs.

Spread across 17 halls and 900 permanent showrooms, the fair provided a seamless sourcing experience across categories such as home décor, furnishings, furniture, lighting, fashion jewellery, carpets, garden accessories, wellness products, and more.

International participation was robust, with strong buyer presence from the USA, UK, France, Australia, the Netherlands, Japan, South Africa, the Middle East and many more. Buyers acknowledged India’s strengths in craftsmanship, design innovation, competitive pricing, scalability, and reliability. Sustainability, customisation, and consistent quality emerged as key sourcing priorities. The fair also reflected a clear trend of supply chain diversification, with buyers increasingly enhancing procurement from India.

A notable trend observed was the growing diversification of supply chains, with several international buyers increasing procurement from India. Buyers from UK, EU, UAE and others where India has recently signed trade agreements have expressed optimism and are hopeful that it will pave way for increased bilateral trade in future. Similarly Australian buyers acknowledged the positive impact of the India– Australia ECTA in facilitating trade. Buyers from the USA emphasised scalability and durability, while those from Japan highlighted precision and finishing standards. Strong appreciation was also noted from buyers in South Africa and the Middle East for India’s quality-to-price advantage and dependable supplier ecosystem.

Over the years, IHGF Delhi Fair has built a distinct identity by fostering international market linkages and enabling meaningful business engagements.

Looking ahead, the 62nd IHGF Delhi Fair – Autumn 2026 is poised to feature over 3,500 exhibitors, curated thematic segments, and expanded design showcases. As a prominent fixture on the global sourcing calendar, IHGF Delhi Fair continues to strengthen India’s position as a preferred destination for quality handicrafts, blending heritage with contemporary global relevance.

Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) in collaboration with India Expo Centre & Mart Ltd. (IEML), the fair remains a future-ready trade platform connecting global buyers with India’s manufacturing hubs, artisan clusters, and creative enterprises.
