Label STEP is making a meaningful mark at this year’s 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, reinforcing its mission to promote fair trade and sustainable practices in the handmade carpet industry. Under the event’s theme, “Keep it Real,” STEP is highlighting the authenticity and real human stories woven into every rug made by its certified partners.
Two STEP-certified partners — Man of Parts and Rezas — are showcasing exceptional collections at the design festival. Man of Parts debuts innovative pieces from acclaimed designers Yabu Pushelberg, Gregor Hildebrandt, and Simone Coste, blending global design perspectives with artisanal excellence. Meanwhile, Rezas presents a curated line of luxurious handmade rugs, artfully merging vintage narratives with modern minimalism.
A highlight of STEP’s presence will be at Illums Bolighus, where Rezas is exhibiting. On June 19, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, STEP Managing Director Reto Aschwanden will deliver a talk focused on fair working conditions and the importance of ethical partnerships in the global rug industry.
With its participation, Label STEP underscores that behind every beautiful carpet lies a commitment to human dignity, cultural preservation, and sustainable progress.
