modulyss is set to energize Clerkenwell Design Week 2025 with a dynamic programme of inspiring talks, hands-on workshops, and thought-provoking discussions at its London showroom on 32-34 Clerkenwell Road. From May 20–22, visitors will have the opportunity to engage with leading design voices, explore cutting-edge ideas, and connect with the future of interior and architectural design.
Exploring Hybrid Spaces, Smart Technologies, and Regenerative Design
The event kicks off on Tuesday, May 20th at 2:30 PM, with Becky White, Associate Design Director at Universal Design Studio, presenting “Designing Rooms With Dual Purpose: The New Rules of Hybrid Design”, addressing the challenges and creative opportunities of multifunctional spaces.
On Wednesday, May 21st at 2:30 PM, Gurvinder Khurana and Kim Morgan from M Moser Associates will delve into “How Smart Technologies Optimise Wellbeing in Neuroaesthetic Spaces”, sharing insights on how AI-driven environments and sensory design are shaping the future of human-centered spaces.
Laura Narvaez Zertuche and Farah Caswell, Partners at Foster + Partners, will headline on Thursday, May 22nd at 10:30 AM with “What’s Next in Sustainability: Regenerative Design is the New Standard”, offering a compelling look at how architecture can positively impact the environment.
Future-Focused Panel Discussion and Creative Workshops
A panel discussion on Wednesday, May 21st at 10:30 AM, “Designing for the Generation of Tomorrow”, moderated by editorial consultant Helen Parton, will feature architects Julian McIntosh, Vincent Hon, and Astrid Hugo as they discuss the role of design in a rapidly evolving world influenced by climate change, AI, and shifting societal values.
Creative workshops will add a hands-on dimension to the programme:
- On Tuesday, May 20th at 10:30 AM, scent expert Emily Lynam from Yougi London will lead “Design Your Signature Interior Perfume”, teaching participants how to blend essential oils for custom interior fragrances.
- On Thursday, May 22nd at 1:00 PM, Cheeky Studio will host “The Art of Hand-Tufting: Craft Your Own Accent Rug”, where attendees can craft their own rug through the traditional hand-tufting technique.
Opening Night Networking
