The award acknowledges Lassus’ long-standing commitment to ethical production, environmental responsibility, and timeless artisanal craftsmanship.

The Award-Winning Rugs:

- Kiviya
Hand-knotted in Pakistan using hand-spun Afghan wool, Kiviya pays homage to nomadic weaving traditions. Its asymmetrical white and brown pattern highlights the tactile richness and warmth of natural wool.

- Aboya
A sophisticated piece made from hand-spun jute, Aboya is handwoven in India and features a subtle tribal-inspired motif. The rug is reversible, offering two reversed colorways on each side, enhancing its practicality and visual appeal.

- Utami
Crafted in India, Utami is a flat-woven jacquard rug that showcases the beauty of natural jute. Its minimalist design is available in two versions: natural jute and brown, or bleached jute combined with brown, both emphasizing the organic texture of the fiber.
Each piece not only embodies the aesthetic clarity characteristic of Lassus’ designs but also aligns with the growing demand for sustainable luxury in home interiors.
With this award, Kristiina Lassus further cements its reputation as a pioneer in ethical, environmentally conscious design within the global rug industry.
