Shaw Industries has named Jamie Welborn as its new Vice President of Carpet Product, a move that underscores the company’s strategic focus on innovation, quality, and customer-centric flooring solutions.
In his new role, Welborn will lead the strategic direction of Shaw’s residential carpet portfolio, tasked with delivering fresh, market-relevant products and enhancing customer experience. He will oversee product vitality, innovation, and portfolio management — all essential elements of Shaw’s approach to maintaining its market leadership.

Welborn brings over 35 years of experience in the flooring industry, where he has successfully managed residential product lines, championed innovation, and optimized quality and cost efficiency. Recognized for his collaborative leadership and strategic insight, he has a reputation for building strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Welborn holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Management and Marketing from Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science (now Thomas Jefferson University) and a Master of Science in Textile Technology from the Institute of Textile Technology.
