Luxury Carpet Studio Enhances Multisensory Hospitality with ‘Wellness Nostrum’ Project

In an ambitious step toward redefining wellness-driven interior architecture, Luxury Carpet Studio has been selected as a key partner in the groundbreaking “Wellness Nostrum” project – a hospitality concept curated by acclaimed architect Alberto Apostoli. The initiative explores new frontiers of guest wellbeing through immersive, sensory-led design.

At the heart of this concept lies a holistic approach that connects spatial design with tactile interaction, creating environments that go beyond aesthetics. Unlike traditional hospitality projects, Wellness Nostrum is rooted in experiential design, where architecture, materials, and furnishings coalesce to form spaces that guests can physically and emotionally engage with.

Tactile Experience through Textile Innovation

Textile surfaces, particularly carpets, play a pivotal role in shaping the perceptual and emotional tone of the spaces. Selected for their ability to combine artistic design with durability and technical performance, Luxury Carpet Studio supplied bespoke flooring solutions tailored to the specific needs of each environment.

Three premium collections were integrated:

  • Kyoto: Reflecting calm and contemplation through nature-inspired motifs.
  • Ocean: Offering fluid patterns and harmonious tones ideal for visual and spatial balance.
  • Outdoor: Durable and design-forward, ideal for transitional zones between indoor and outdoor areas.

Each carpet was meticulously customized in size, texture, and color palette to align with the concept’s focus on tactile exploration. More than decorative elements, these carpets act as “sensory tools” that guide guest perception and deepen their connection to the space.

Transforming Carpets into Instruments of Memory

By emphasizing tactile richness, Wellness Nostrum elevates carpets from passive elements to active contributors in memory-making and emotional comfort. According to Apostoli, the aim was to engage multiple senses simultaneously to ensure the experience is immersive and enduring.
The project not only highlights the strategic role of textile design in luxury hospitality but also underscores the emerging trend of multisensory architecture — where touch, texture, and emotional resonance are central to spatial storytelling.

A New Benchmark in Wellness-Focused Design

The collaboration between Luxury Carpet Studio and Alberto Apostoli has been widely applauded within the international design community. It sets a new benchmark for how materials, especially textiles, can support health, comfort, and a deeper sense of place in modern hospitality environments.
Through this innovative case study, Luxury Carpet Studio affirms its position at the forefront of luxury flooring solutions — where craftsmanship meets wellness, and where every thread contributes to a more memorable guest experience.
