Tarkett has introduced the Acczent Chambray collection, a fresh addition to its Acczent heterogeneous vinyl sheet portfolio. Inspired by the European countryside, the new collection features 22 calming colors such as Terra, Sunshine, Vine, and Citrus, offering visual softness while maintaining the line’s renowned durability.
“Chambray fabric has long been celebrated for its strength and elegance,” said Omoleye Simmons, vice president of design at Tarkett. “This collection brings that same sense of warmth and familiarity into interior spaces.”
Engineered for high-performance environments like healthcare and education, Acczent Chambray includes a 32-mil wear layer and is protected with Techtonic XD, Tarkett’s proprietary excimer-cured coating that resists stains, scratches, and scuffs without requiring a floor finish.
The product is installed using RollSmart adhesive, designed for speed and safety—particularly in hospital settings—allowing for quicker installations and immediate occupancy. Thermo-fused welded seams create a seamless surface that promotes hygiene and simplifies maintenance.
The new Chambray collection is asthma & allergy-friendly certified, ortho-phthalate–free, and eligible for Tarkett’s ReStart take-back and recycling program, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to health and sustainability.
