Heimtextil is rapidly establishing itself as the leading international platform for the carpet and flooring sector. At its next edition, taking place from January 13–16, 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, carpets and rugs will take center stage across four hall levels, underscoring the sector’s growing importance.
Due to surging demand, the carpet segment will now occupy the spacious Halls 11, 11.1, and 12, alongside Hall 3. Non-textile floorcoverings will also be prominently featured in Hall 12, ensuring a holistic presentation of flooring solutions.
Global Leaders Confirm Participation
Major industry players from the machine-woven carpet sector have confirmed their presence, including Balta (Belgium), Hanse Home Collection (Germany), Lalee (Germany), Merinos (Turkey), Oriental Weavers Group and EFCO (Egypt), Ragolle Rugs (Belgium), and Universal XXI (Spain). Additionally, Belgian industry association Fedustria will showcase the premium products of its members.
Hall Highlights
- Hall 11: The new hub for hand-woven carpets, featuring renowned Indian companies such as Hafizia Arts & Craft, Heritage Overseas, Himalaya Concepts, Javi Home, Looms & Knots, Maurya International, Nirmal International, Rugs INC., Teppiche de Orienta, and The Rug Republic.
- Hall 11.1: Joint stands from China and India, including the Carpet Export Promotion Council and the Handloom Export Promotion Council.
- Hall 3: Carpet collections showcased within the DecoTeam and adjacent Design Lounge powered by DecoTeam, with participants such as Paulig Teppichweberei (Haro), Infloor-Girloon, Otto Golze & Söhne, Theko (Sansibar Sylt, Tom Tailor, Natur Pur), and Tisca.
- Hall 12: The Future Floor area will spotlight sustainability, innovation, and forward-looking designs. It will feature curated exhibitor selections, expert talks on carpet trends, and guided tours to highlight key industry innovations.
A Holistic Approach to Flooring
“Some carpet companies showcase mixed collections with non-textile floor coverings, which is in line with the holistic approach of Heimtextil 2026,” said Bettina Bär, Director of Heimtextil. “The carpets and rugs offering is more extensive than ever, and we are now taking a step further by also providing a platform for flooring and equipment.”
