Artemis Carpet Draws Strong Attention with New Collections at ICFE 2026

The global carpet and flooring industry gathered once again in Istanbul as the International Carpet & Flooring Expo (ICFE 2026) opened its doors at the Istanbul Expo Center from 6–9 January 2026, confirming Turkey’s position as one of the world’s leading hubs for carpet production and exports. As the world’s second-largest carpet exporter after China, with a foreign trade volume of nearly USD 3 billion, the Turkish carpet sector showcased its latest innovations to international buyers and industry professionals.

Among the exhibitors receiving significant attention was Artemis Carpet, which presented its newest collections at Hall 6, Stand 613A. In addition to its existing portfolio, the company introduced seven new collections featuring nearly 400 new designs, attracting strong interest from visitors throughout the four-day event.

Speaking at ICFE 2026, Tolga Batallı, Chairman of Artemis Carpet, emphasized that Turkey is not only a major manufacturing center but also an influential player shaping global carpet trends. He noted that more than 60% of Artemis Carpet’s production is exported, primarily to the United States and European markets, underlining the brand’s strong international footprint.

ICFE 2026, organized by TÜYAP with the support of the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB) and the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Association (GAHİB), offered visitors a comprehensive overview of the latest products, technologies, and design trends in carpets and flooring. The exhibition continues to serve as a strategic platform for fostering international partnerships and expanding global market reach.

Batallı also highlighted the company’s production strength and growth strategy. Founded in Gaziantep, the heart of Turkey’s carpet industry, Artemis Carpet has been active in the sector for over a decade. The company operates a 32,000-square-meter production facility, with an annual production capacity approaching 1.8 million square meters, and maintains more than 750 sales points across Turkey while exporting to over 30 countries worldwide. Artemis Carpet currently provides employment for more than 2,000 people nationwide and aims to increase its production capacity by 30% in 2026.

A 2026 Collection Where Quality Meets Craftsmanship

Detailing the newly launched collections, Batallı explained that the 2026 range is built around 100% viscose yarns and a high-density 100-reed weaving structure, prioritizing quality, natural texture, and durability. With seven different 100-reed collections, Artemis Carpet has achieved a weaving density and quality level that remains challenging for many competitors in the sector.

The collections are designed to suit a wide range of interior styles, from classic and luxurious spaces to modern and contemporary environments. Premium collections such as Hermes, Pera Palace, and Piena highlight craftsmanship, artisanal detailing, and an elegant aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Art Shape collection introduces geometric patterns to the 100-reed category with an artistic approach for the first time, while modern lines like Art Stil focus on minimal design, timeless colors, and architectural harmony.

With a total of 17 collections and more than 300 designs, Artemis Carpet’s 2026 offering reflects a strong, market-driven vision. The company reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability, innovation, quality, and environmentally responsible production, aiming to carry Turkey’s rich carpet heritage into the future with a modern and globally competitive approach.
