Luxury design house Koket has unveiled Soft Pleasures, the brand’s first-ever handcrafted rug collection, marking a significant expansion of its textile-driven design portfolio.
Designed by Sophia Silva, the company’s artistic director, the collection represents what Koket describes as a natural evolution of its longstanding relationship with textiles. Known for approaching design with a couture sensibility, Silva treated each rug as a sculptural artwork—composing designs through layered form, relief and movement.
“Soft Pleasures is a handcrafted collection defined by sculptural beauty and tactile sophistication. Each rug is meticulously made with a luxurious wool foundation and elevated through bamboo silk reliefs that bring depth, contrast and a sensual finish to the surface,” Silva said.

Sculptural Forms and Layered Textures
The collection is characterized by oversized florals, winding lizards, and fluid organic forms rendered in sculptural relief. Crafted from a wool base enhanced with bamboo silk detailing, the rugs emphasize texture, dimensionality and visual drama.
Among the key designs:
- Flora Fluid features serpentine lines that flow across the surface, evoking movement and quiet sensuality. It is available in beige and wheat tones.
- Serpenti presents a bold, asymmetrical floral motif enhanced by layered textures for added depth.
- Poppy highlights a dramatic floral composition. Poppy Bronze introduces subtle luminous accents, while Poppy Sand emphasizes softness and light refinement.
- Orchid unfolds in graceful, restrained forms in taupe and sand variations.
- Hibiscus delivers a large-scale floral statement with overlapping blooms and rich bronze textures, including an organically shaped bronze oval version designed as a focal point.
- Ophidia offers a more graphic, modern interpretation, playing with rhythm and sculptural relief in beige.
- Terra draws inspiration from natural textures and earthy forms, with Terra Wheat providing a calm and tactile aesthetic grounded in organic elegance.

With Soft Pleasures, Koket positions itself firmly within the high-end rug segment, blending artistic craftsmanship with contemporary interior aesthetics.
