Istanbul to Host ICFE 2026 with 500 Exhibitors and 50,000 Visitors

Event Expands to 11 Halls with 500 Exhibitors and 50,000 Visitors Expected

The International Carpet & Flooring Expo (ICFE) is set to return bigger than ever, adding an 11th exhibition hall as global demand continues to surge. Scheduled for 6–9 January 2026 at the Istanbul Expo Center, the third edition of ICFE will bring together 500 companies from 25 countries and an estimated 50,000 professional visitors from around the world.

Organized by Tüyap Exhibitions Group in partnership with the Istanbul Carpet Exporters’ Association (İHİB) and the Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Association (GAHİB), ICFE has quickly evolved into one of the most influential trade platforms in the global carpet and flooring industry.

Expanding Footprint Reflects Growing Global Influence

The decision to expand to 11 halls underscores the event’s rapid growth and increasing international relevance. All exhibition spaces have already been booked, with leading global brands securing their participation early.

Backed by a marketing network reaching over 80 countries, ICFE’s organizers have employed an integrated strategy combining digital media campaigns, international B2B matchmaking, and targeted buyer programs to ensure maximum visibility and business opportunities for exhibitors.

“Our industry may embrace digital tools, but it thrives on the trust and connections that come from meeting in person,” said İlhan Ersözlü, Managing Director at Tüyap Exhibitions Group. “The expansion of ICFE to an 11th hall and the diversity of international participation demonstrate how vital Istanbul has become as a global center for carpets and flooring.”

Diverse Participation from Across Continents

ICFE 2026 will host companies from China, Iran, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, the USA, Egypt, Jordan, Belgium, and France, among others. The fair is expected to attract visitors from over 105 countries, with strong participation from Germany, Italy, Russia, China, India, and the Middle East.

Following the success of the 2025 edition—where 78% of exhibitors reported new business partnerships—the organizers aim to surpass that achievement in 2026, targeting an 85% success rate for new business connections.

A Strategic Hub for Global Trade

As Istanbul continues to establish itself as a strategic crossroads for international trade, ICFE 2026 promises to further strengthen the city’s role as a global hub for the carpet and flooring industry. The event will serve as a platform for launching new collections, forging international partnerships, and shaping future industry trends.

“ICFE 2026 will be a platform where new partnerships are formed, and the future of the industry takes shape,” Ersözlü added.
