Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Tolga Batallı, Chairman of Artemis Carpet, emphasized the sector’s strong global positioning. He highlighted that Turkey today accounts for approximately 17% of global carpet exports, ranking as the world’s second-largest exporter. Batallı also pointed to Gaziantep’s role as a key production hub and reliable global supplier within the industry.
“Carpets are no longer viewed simply as floor coverings,” Batallı noted. “They have become defining elements of living spaces, shaping atmosphere, identity, and design language. Our focus has been to combine this design perspective with state-of-the-art production technologies.”
With more than a decade of industry experience, Artemis Carpet exports approximately 60% of its production, serving a wide range of international markets. The company’s strategy extends beyond volume-driven growth, placing emphasis on value-added products, sustainability, and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices across the entire production and export chain.
According to the company, innovation and sustainability remain central pillars of its long-term vision. From raw material selection to production efficiency and design development, Artemis Carpet aims to align traditional craftsmanship with modern industrial standards to meet evolving global demand.
As ICFE Istanbul 2026 approaches, Artemis Carpet’s participation is expected to attract significant attention from international buyers, distributors, and project developers seeking reliable suppliers with strong design capabilities and scalable production strength.
